Forklift Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Hi-Lo Driver to join our manufacturing team. The Hi-Lo Driver is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move raw materials, keep machines stocked, and transport finished products to the proper storage areas. This role also ensures production work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift/hi-lo.

Perform and document daily forklift inspections.

Deliver materials, packaging, and components to machines as needed.

Remove finished stock and place it in designated storage areas.

Handle scrap and waste removal properly.

Verify labels and documentation for accuracy.

Keep workstations stocked, clean, and organized.

Communicate effectively with team members across shifts.

Assist with workstation setup to ensure production runs smoothly.

Follow all company and safety policies.

Cross-train with material handling and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of hi-lo/forklift driving experience (required).

Forklift certification preferred.

Attention to detail with strong focus on safety.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Manufacturing or plastic injection molding experience is a plus.
