Full-time: 8:30 – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday, +occasional events

Summary:
The Data Specialist is responsible for the data integrity of all data relating Junior Achievement of South Florida’s educational programs. The Data Specialist reports directly to the Program Operations Manager and works closely with Program team members. This includes tasks such as data entry, data cleansing, data analysis, and data visualization. The Data Specialist must be able to work independently and as part of a team and must have excellent attention to detail.
What you will do:
Enter data such as student and teacher records, class completions, assessments, surveys etc. into various data management systems
Work with team members to ensure proper data tools and collection methods are being used
Assist in the creation of queries, reports, data visualizations
Ensure data integrity by regularly analyzing and cleaning data systems
Manage all database maintenance of completed program classes. Includes creating classes, linking teachers, schools, volunteers, and businesses for each class.

What you will need:
Passionate about JA’s mission and impact
Data Entry software (such as Excel, Blackbaud CRMs, PowerBi) 3 years’ experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite and SharePoint
Strong attention to detail, work accurately and efficiently
Learn new software and procedures quickly
Strong communications skills (written/verbal)

Work independently and as part of a team
Committed to learning and growing with the intention to drive change
Positive attitude, highly organized, results oriented, self-starter
Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity
Highschool diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
