Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

MedAdventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Marshfield, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about enhancing communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities for residents in a long-term care setting.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to assess, treat, and support residents with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate residents for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address identified needs

Provide therapy sessions in accordance with care plans and physician orders

Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia management

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and outcomes

Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing, and families

Qualifications:

Active Missouri SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered

Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred

Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
