**About the Role**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Engineering Intern to join our Security Engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience with industry-leading security platforms such as Zscaler and CrowdStrike, and provides an opportunity to contribute to real-world security operations in a dynamic enterprise environment.

As a Security Engineering Intern, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of our endpoint and network security platforms, helping to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data. You will work closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot user issues, manage policy exceptions, and support ongoing security initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Monitor and respond to security-related tickets in ServiceNow, particularly those involving Zscaler and CrowdStrike.

+ Troubleshoot user access and connectivity issues related to Zscaler Internet Access and CrowdStrike Falcon.

+ Assist in maintaining and updating policy exclusions, allowlists, and blocklists for both platforms.

+ Support security compliance by ensuring adherence to Hologic security standards and system requirements.

+ Help maintain documentation for operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and platform configurations.

+ Participate in log analysis and alert triage to identify false positives or potential threats.

+ Assist with platform health checks, version updates, and configuration audits.

+ Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of security tools.

+ Contribute to automation efforts using scripting or low-code tools to streamline repetitive tasks.

+ Stay current with platform updates, security advisories, and best practices.
