The IT Applications Analyst is responsible for the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of various LIMS IT applications and systems. This role will be primarily focused on performing System Administration, Application troubleshooting, solution design and implementation, and ensuring adherence to compliant processes with some software development opportunities as projects arise.
As an IT Applications Analyst, a typical day might include the following:
Coordinates across business departments and stakeholders, gathering, and implementing requirements and enhancement requests for various applications.
Provides SME support and works closely with cross-functional departments on projects to enhance system functionality and solve emergent issues.
Coordinates with other IT Application team members to administer and support production systems in an efficient and compliant manner.
Assists with the administration and alignment of application updates and Change Controls across all development and testing environments.
Responsible for IT Applications documentation, including, converting User Requirement Specifications to a Detail Design Specification, Configuration Test Plans, and Summary Reports.
Configures reports (tabular, trend, and labels).
Processes IT Applications change control requests with guidance.
Works with Validation and Quality departments to ensure IT Applications are implemented following the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Collaborating with IT developers, IT analysts, and business users to understand requirements and assist in the design of solutions to meet those requirements.
Providing end-user support for IT Applications including troubleshooting problems at the application, server, and infrastructure level.
Participates or may lead IT Applications systems security access and periodic audit trail reviews.
Performs recurring system administrative tasks and assists with the maintenance of existing AWS infrastructure.
Writes and executes queries against large-scale enterprise-level databases.

IT Applications Analyst: 2+ years of relevant experience.
Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
LabWare LIMS and/or system administration experience a plus.
