Job Description
Current openings are available in the Referral/Send Outs Department. These roles are primarily desk-based, though most work will involve being on your feet in a fast-paced, yet less labor-intensive environment.
Responsibilities
Scan samples into the system and perform data entry.
Process and sort samples and package them in the laboratory.
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis.
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and specimen problems.
Send test requests to proper locations and release test results.
Assist clients with any specimen-related requests or inquiries.
Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
Perform sample sorting, racking, and retrieving.
Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Essential Skills
Experience in sample preparation and accessioning.
Proficient in data entry and specimen processing.
Strong sample handling skills.
Basic computer skills are required.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have at least a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Reliable and consistent work history is necessary, regardless of industry.
Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
Comfortable handling biological specimens.
Reliable transportation is a must.Work Environment
This is a lab-based environment where candidates will work mostly on their own in sectioned-off areas. The department comprises 80 employees, with no patient contact involved. The role involves handling various types of patient specimens such as urine and blood in a production-based setting. The opportunity offers significant long-term career growth, with many managers and supervisors having started in similar roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dublin, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
