Production Operative

Our client is a well-established supplier/manufacturer of a variety of packaging.

Based in Letchworth Garden City, they are looking to recruit a Production Operative to work as part of a team running machines producing high quality, bespoke packaging . Main duties Operate production machinery and equipment to manufacture bespoke products Follow strict standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure efficient and safe production processes Adhere to accreditation quality, hygiene and safety policies Ensure quality checks during manufacture and on finished products are carried out to ensure they meet specifications Assemble components as required Skills required Good arithmetic skills Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail and the ability to measure and check dimensions accurately.

Experience in a manufacturing environment Flexible approach, a can-do work ethic and a great team player.

You will be working with a small friendly team on a variety of roles with a mix of machines which makes the work interesting and varied.

Salary £25,396 -£27,500 dependent on experience.

Our client operates an 8 hour day between 6am-6pm Monday – Friday dependant on the production schedule with prior notice from your Line Manager.
