Substance Abuse Counselor

Job Description

Bridge House/Grace House is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker or Counselor to join our Men’s Residential Recovery Program. This is your chance to make a real impact in a residential addiction treatment setting, supporting individuals as they navigate addiction, mental health challenges, and physical health concerns.

What You’ll Do:

Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans

Provide individual and group therapy

Maintain timely and accurate documentation

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery

Connect clients with social service resources in the Greater New Orleans area

Who We’re Looking For:

Licensed or license-eligible in Louisiana: LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC, RAC, CAC, LAC, or CIT

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related mental health field

Experience in addiction treatment (ASI training a plus)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Passion for helping people rebuild their lives

Pre-employment background check and drug test
