As a result, we are seeking an experienced Recruitment Partner to lead the delivery of key operational and strategic recruitment activities.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Recruitment and partnering closely with the Manager, Indigenous Employment, the broader D&I team and the Indigenous Strategy and Services portfolio, with a particular focus on driving the Indigenous Workforce Plan forward.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
lead the collaboration between Recruitment Partners, the HR Centres of Expertise such as Indigenous Employment and wider Operations to promote an integrated and contemporary service
develop and uplift the University’s capability in the recruitment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander talent, leveraging valued resources and insights, and tailoring strategies for succession into critical roles
consult with your specialist client groups on effective outreach and sourcing strategies to segment the market and attract top talent aligned to our teaching and research pursuits
participate in activities that creatively engage top talent through innovative talent attraction strategies, upholding best practice, continuous improvement and strengthening of our employer value proposition
Manage the talent pipelines and Indigenous supply panel, offering advice to stakeholders across the University on available talent and resources to source appropriate talent
About you
identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
proactive consultation with leaders, delivering creative and contemporary talent acquisition services within a multidisciplinary, complex organisation
knowledge of best practice recruitment, retention, development and attraction of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with experience in delivering culturally appropriate recruitment practices
a strong focus on data driven service improvements and use of management reporting to drive service excellence
flexibility in organisation and planning skills in order to balance competing agendas and demands in a complex and time sensitive environment
outstanding presentation, communication and negotiation skills to deliver messaging on a variety of channels to varied audiences
consistently high calibre recruitment outcomes and fostering of best practice recruitment methods
an agile and flexible approach that is able to pivot and contribute to overall team success.
