Senior PowerBi PowerApps Tester

What will your role look like

Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for Power BI dashboards, Power Apps solutions, and related integrations.

Validate data accuracy, performance, functionality, and visualizations in Power BI reports and dashboards.

Test Power Apps features, including forms, workflows, and business logic.

Identify, report, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Conduct regression testing to ensure updates and enhancements do not impact existing functionality.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users to design effective test scenarios.

Explore opportunities for test automation in Power BI and Power Apps environments.

Maintain testing documentation, create reusable templates, and continuously enhance QA processes.

We would like you to bring along

Strong understanding of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).

Familiarity with Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven Apps, workflows).

Hands-on experience with testing web-based applications.

Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.

Familiarity with APIs and Power Automate workflows.

Proficiency with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).

Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

4+ years of QA testing experience, preferably in Power BI and Power Apps environments.

Good-to-have skills

Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, PowerShell, or custom scripts for Power Platform).

Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure SQL and Data Factory.

Proven experience in testing data visualizations and low-code/no-code applications.

Understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
