Description
To further grow our newly formed team in Belgium, we are looking for a local Office Administrator. The Office Administrator will work in close collaboration with the Office Manager and the local management team. You will be responsible for general Office Administration and will be supporting a range of tasks related to Finance, HR and Legal.
The responsibilities of the Office Administrator are expected to grow along with the size of the team. This is a part-time (2 days/week) position.
Responsibilities
General Administration
Support the local team in their queries related to office management (stationery, travel arrangements, …)
Manage office expenditures and budgets
Maintain office services by working with internal or external facility service suppliers
Keep track of employee absences and report to payroll office
Finance
Support the interaction between the corporate HQ, the finance controller and the local accountant
Support the handling of local invoices and expenses and interface with local accountant / payroll office
Provide support on obtaining relevant governmental R&D funding
HR
Support the HR department in updating and maintaining office policies
Support the HR department by keeping personnel records up-to-date and assist in the interview and on-boarding process of new hires
Act as local interface towards benefits providers (insurance broker, lease companies, …)
Legal
Support the Legal team on local legislation
Qualifications
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Dutch as a minimum)
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook)
Team player, able to build good working relationships with colleagues
Proven experience in any of the mentioned responsibilities is considered a plus
