Human Resources Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our growing international team at our office in Sierksdorf, Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to support HR operations across multiple European countries, with a particular focus on Germany and France.

This is a high impact, high visibility position, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, support compliance with local labour laws, and contribute to fostering a positive, people-focused workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related matters for the German and French teams.

Administer core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, and documentation.

Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with local labour legislation in Germany and France.

Support payroll coordination and benefits administration in collaboration with local vendors and finance teams.

Assist with employee relations, performance management processes, and day-to-day HR queries.

Maintain accurate HR records and manage updates in the HRIS system.

Support HR reporting, analytics, and audit preparation as required.

Collaborate with the wider HR and operational teams to improve and harmonize HR practices across Europe.

Requirements

2–15 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an international or multi-country environment.

Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment law in Germany and France.

Experience supporting additional European regions (e.g., Benelux) is a plus.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms and strong administrative/organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills in English and German; French is a strong advantage.

A proactive, hands-on mindset with a high level of discretion and integrity.

CIPD is a plus but not a must.
