Pacific International has been retained by a global leader in the chemical space to support its continued global growth and transformation. Formed through a merger, the company brings expertise and a portfolio of advanced materials serving across several industries.

As part of its transformation strategy, the company is seeking a Project Director, Business Transformation & Strategy to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across the organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s long-term strategic direction, driving enterprise-wide transformation programs, and ensuring alignment with senior leadership on projects that deliver significant value. With direct engagement with the CEO, CFO, and other executives, this role offers global visibility and the opportunity to influence the organization at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead transformative initiatives that drive enterprise-wide growth, restructuring, and long-term value creation.

Deliver strategic insights to the Board, CEO, CFO, and shareholders

Advise on M&A and strategic partnerships, including evaluation, due diligence, and integration to maximize synergies and accelerate growth.

Direct enterprise-level analyses to inform strategic investments and decisions.

Prioritize and evaluate opportunities across business units to enhance performance, profitability, and market position.

Steer the annual strategy review, rigorously assessing progress, risk, and organizational alignment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience in a top-tier consulting organization or in a senior strategic/project role within the chemical/industry business

Proven strategy and corporate transformation expertise, with experience in M&A, change management, and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Industrial/Chemicals background with corporate strategy experience.

Strong track record influencing executives and boards, delivering growth and organizational change.

Advanced analytical skills, turning data into actionable insights.

Fluent in English; German or Dutch a plus.

Proficient in MS Office, delivering high-impact presentations and reports.
