Structural Engineer

STAR Consultants is seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in the design and analysis of steel, concrete, and masonry structures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in structural modeling and drafting software, familiar with building codes and standards, and capable of preparing construction documents and performing field inspections. Star Consultants is a well established and successful Architectural/Engineering firm established in 1997. Star provides services to a broad range of public and private sector clients. The professional staff consists of architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and construction professionals.

Requirements:

PE certification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Knowledge of facility steel, concrete and masonry structures.

Fluency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.

Proficiency in CAD/Revit

Familiarity with current design processes.

Knowledge of current OH codes, and current client relationships in Columbus area
