Continuing Education Part-Time HVAC Apprentice Instructor 2025-2026 JobID: 1332 Position Type: Continuing Education Date Posted: 6/18/2025 Location: Morris County Vocational School District Closing Date: Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide DESCRIPTION: MCVSD Continuing Education department has an anticipated opening for an HVAC-R Instructor who is a NJ Licensed HVAC technician to instruct adults enrolled in our registered training program for apprenticeship.

The course content includes concepts such as troubleshooting systems and components, concepts of fluid handling; cooling towers and indoor air quality.

Classes meet on campus two evenings and one evening online during the week for 3 hours per session for a total of 100 sessions per year September - June QUALIFICATIONS: * At least 5-10 years employment experience in design, repair, installation of residential/commercial HVAC systems is required.

* Teaching experience (preferred) * Excellent written and technical communication skills * Experience with ESCO training materials and Job Readiness exams (preferred) * Licensed in refrigerant handling (608, 410A, etc) EOE/AA
