Under administrative direction from the Social Program Administrator 1; plays a pivotal role in advocating for the educational success and stability of children and youth involved with the agency; dedicated to implementing strategies outlined in Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and promoting the Educational Partnership for Social Emotional and Academics (EPSEA), ensuring that all school-aged children in custody have access to quality education despite placement changes; enhance agency educational strategy efforts, work with community partners (e.g.

school districts, courts, etc.) to collect, analyze, and share relevant data (academic and social emotional learning (SEL), disproportionality, etc.) to assess supports, measure progress and outcomes, and explore solutions.

* Educational Advocacy * Educational Support Liaison * Enrollment & Partnership * Educational Case Management * Monitoring & Intervention * Compliance & Reporting * Additional Duties as Assigned Bachelor's degree in education or related field and 3 years of post-degree experience in a youth educational setting or in child welfare/social work.

* Master's degree in Education or related field and 5 years of post-degree experience in a youth educational setting or in child welfare/social work.

* In-depth knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices, with a particular focus on special education and the needs of students with complex academic needs.

* Strong advocacy, educational case management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

* Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in educational practices and outcomes.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
