Job Details
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee tax planning and compliance for HNW/UHNW individuals, families, trusts, and their business entities
Develop and execute tax strategies for partnerships, S-corporations, and other pass-through entities
Advise on wealth transfer, estate planning, and multi-generational tax efficiency
Research complex tax issues related to private investments, real estate holdings, and family office structures
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations, particularly for clients with multi-jurisdictional assets
Work closely with investment advisors, estate planners, and legal counsel to provide comprehensive financial solutions
Handle tax audits, controversy resolution, and IRS/state tax examinations
Mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm's continued expertise in high-net-worth taxation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
For manager level, CPA preferred. (also open to Master's in Tax OR EA)
At least 3 years of tax experience, ideally with HNW individuals, family offices, or private client services
Strong expertise in pass-through entity taxation, partnerships, and trust structures
Experience with estate planning strategies, gift tax, and wealth transfer
Ability to navigate complex tax laws and conduct in-depth research
Strong client-facing skills with a focus on high-touch advisory services
Prior experience in a family office, Big 4, or specialized tax advisory firm is a plus
