Job Summary
Tuskegee University seeks to hire a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented program assistant for the Tuskegee University Entrepreneurship & Innovation Training Program for Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Development Program (BFRDP). This individual will report to the project director, who will assist in developing, planning, and implementing project activities.
Essential Job Duties
Collaborate and assist the Principal Investigator in the design and implementation of in person and virtual training workshops and training sessions.
Document project activities and track project milestones.
Collaborate with other team members to plan and organize events and training sessions.
Provide data entry using Excel and web-based systems, and track program data.
Follow up and monitor participants' success in the training program.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business, Criminal Justice, Education, or Social Sciences field.
Experience in research and outreach
Physical Demands
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to walk short distances
Ability to lift and carry parcels, packages and other items
Ability to view a computer terminal

Knowledge:
Knowledge of social media trends and tools.
