GCP Cloud Product Architect

Experience with GCP amd Azure and AWS. GCP is the primary skillset Systems administration expertise (Windows, Linux) Scripting technologies (Powershell, Bash, Python) Enterprise Monitoring Tools for infrastructure and applications ITIL Foundations and Intermediate Level Transition, Operations, and Continuous Improvement Enterprise ITSM and CMDB Tools Data Networks routing, firewalls, load balancers, DNS Databases relational and NoSQL Storage architecture and technologies Security Access Management, Key Management Cloud Architectures Automation in a cloud environment Infrastructure as Code, especially using GCP SDLC and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment concepts Risk, Security, and Audit complianceCertifications in GCP and or Azure platform (SysOps, DevOps, Architecture) considered a plus for this position.\ Cloud Engineering analyzes the financial, operational, and technical feasibility of adopting external cloud based IT software, platform and infrastructure services. This job family evaluates the costs and benefits of cloud, virtual private networks, dedicated housing, and in-house solutions and identifies portions of the organization s IT infrastructure with the highest potential return for cloud deployment. Cloud Engineering also manages the implementation of cloud services and their integration with in-house applications and systems, coordinating with vendors and adhering to engineering best practices.The Cloud Engineer role requires an understanding of Cloud Technologies (specifically GCP, AWS, Azure) and Services, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and IT Operations based on ITIL Framework. The role s primary focus is to provide build and operations expertise with a high focus on automation in areas such as performance, monitoring, logging, security, backups/HA/DR, compliance, and ensuring the operations processes and standards are maintained in production.
