Position Type: Athletics/Activities/Lifeguard Date Posted: 1/14/2025 Location: Pool and Fitness Center District: Waterford School District Additional Information: Show/Hide Position: Lifeguard (This position will be through EDUStaff) Location: Mott and Kettering Pool and Fitness Centers Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum 15 years of age * Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid Certification or nationally recognized lifeguard certification * CPR and first aid tests Essential Functions: * Identify potential accident hazards * Enforce all policies and rules * Be alert to prevent accidents * Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency and accident management procedures * Administer First Aid and CPR Reports To: Pool and Fitness Center Manager Workday/Week: Hours vary - Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed Starting Date: TBD Compensation: $13.00 per hour ($0.50 more per hour for morning shift starting at 5:15 AM) Year 2 - $13.25 per hour Year 3 - $13.50 per hour Posting Date: Ongoing Internal and external candidates may apply by visiting and selecting the icon "Employment" and next, "Job Postings Directory".
