HVAC Mechanic- Full Time

In this critical role, you will ensure the efficient operation of HVAC and environmental control systems, maintaining a comfortable and safe living environment for our residents and staff.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair, ideally in a residential or commercial setting.

* Valid heating and/or air conditioning license as required by the state.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot HVAC issues effectively.

* Commitment to safety and quality service while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

* Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.

Primary Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and air quality control systems within the community buildings.

* Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the efficient functioning of all HVAC equipment and systems.

* Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system malfunctions, working quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.

* Ensure that all HVAC systems meet state and federal regulations for safety, air quality, and energy efficiency.

* Monitor and adjust environmental control systems, ensuring optimal comfort levels in living spaces, common areas, and administrative offices.

* Collaborate with the maintenance team to address other mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues as needed.

* Document and track HVAC repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory to ensure systems are operating optimally.

* Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices while maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.

* Respond to urgent maintenance requests related to HVAC systems, ensuring a prompt resolution to maintain resident comfort.
