Lab Technician

Product Testing and Analysis

Perform routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and stability samples to ensure quality and production control.

Compile laboratory test data and perform prescribed data analysis to determine the quality of product.

Investigate and report questionable results to the Quality Manager; communicate out-of-specification or out-of-control situations to the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Identify, store, retrieve and discard production sample retains as required.

Calibrate, validate, and maintain laboratory equipment according to specification to ensure operational soundness.

Quality Control

Follow prescribed operational methods and procedures in the performance of product analysis and use of related lab equipment to ensure reliable results.

Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure product meets specification.

Recordkeeping

Maintain Laboratory documents and records in accordance with the Quality Management System.

Complete lab data sheets accurately and legibly; maintain electronic and paper records in accordance with prescribed procedures.

Complete the Certificate of Analysis in the absence of the Quality Manager when directed.

Work closely with the Shipping Department to ensure timely customer sample shipments and sample receipts.

Participate in the company's safety awareness and incident prevention activities to maintain a safe work environment.
