- Physicians: 6a-6p; 6p-6a

- APPs: 9a-9p (Mon-Wed), 10a-8p (Thurs-Fri), 12p-8p (Sat-Sun)

• Patient Demographics: Adults & Pediatrics

• Patient Volume/Census: ~16,000 annually (~45/day)

• % EMS: 12.4%

• Admissions: 8%

FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 7 ED beds + 3 Fast Track

• EMR System: Cerner Community Works

• Specialty Backup Available: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Podiatry, Surgery

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days (expedited available with clean file)

• Onboarding Requirements: EMR training, then orientation

• Compliance Requirements: Flu, TB, COVID vaccine required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active LA license or IMLC eligible; CDS; DEA (with LA address)

• Board: BC/BE in EM, FM, or IM (must have EM experience)

• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (required unless ABEM certified & participating in ABEM continuing certification)

• Residency Training: EM, FM, or IM

• Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience (required for FM/IM trained)
