Provide educational tutoring to Upward Bound students during the academic year component.
Implement grade levels specific college preparatory activities and lessons.
This is a pooled position.
Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available.
After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications Involved in a post-secondary institution with a major in the pertinent academic discipline or evidence of equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
Experience and/or knowledge in the special problems of minority, low income, first generation, and physically disabled students Experience in tutoring, mentoring, and/or community service with high school level students.
Preferred Qualifications Seeking applicants with: B.A./B.S.
in pertinent academic discipline preferred Graduate of TRiO program or experience in overcoming the challenges and/or circumstances similar to those of the target population.
