Special Education Paraprofessional - SEBS Program

The following position is available in the West Springfield Public School system: SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL SEBS Program (Social Emotional Behavioral) Coburn Elementary School Duties: * Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning * Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students * Participate in inservice training programs, as assigned * Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher * Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and instruction * Other duties as may be assigned Qualifications: * Associates Degree or 48 college credits or Workkeys certification completed * Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed * Such alternatives found to be appropriate * Certification in First Aid Certification and CPR preferred Work Schedule: Full Time: thirty (30) hours per week.

Salary: per Unit D contract (salary range: $17.67/hr - $22.96/hr)
