Primary Responsibilities This position will lead and supervise Maintenance Technicians to achieve established maintenance goals consistent with standards of quality, safety, labor efficiency, and workplace organization.
* Leads and supervises maintenance technicians to achieve established maintenance goals consistent with standards of quality, safety, labor efficiency, and workplace organization.
* Supports the production activities by maintaining the production equipment and provides assistance to maintain the facility systems.
* Manages the educational pay program for all maintenance technicians.
* Partners with manufacturing engineering team to lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
* Participates in product support teams to improve equipment uptime.
* Create or check purchase requisitions, makes sure parts are ordered, check status of delivery, and check delivered items.
* Supports the MRO Stockroom with parts inventory management.
* Manages applicable budgets for equipment repairs, parts, and supplies.
* Trouble shoot problems that arise on the production floor throughout the day.
* Communicates the need for any follow up work to all shifts as required.
* Prioritize work orders and delegates responsibilities for work orders.
* Utilizes corporate CMMS program to measure team performance working towards "World Class Maintenance" status.
* Provides safety training for the maintenance team in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety program requirements.
* Provide communication for equipment repair status updates to manufacturing.
* Coordinates equipment manufacturer representatives to conduct repairs and major PMs.
* Has daily contact with all hourly employees within assigned area and plant management.
