NSC Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Assistant VP of Service Operations for a direct hire position in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

JOB DETAILS:

PAY: $120k - $130k DOE

HOURS: 40-50

DURATION: Direct HireSCOPE

Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations while driving strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, safety, quality, customer experience, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on leadership approach, a deep understanding of both manufacturing and service environments, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development.

The role includes oversight of technical, manufacturing, and service departments, along with strategic leadership of project managers to optimize workflows, resource allocation, and project execution.

In addition to operational management, the Vice President will be responsible for capital improvement planning, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Engineering or related field preferred.

Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in operations, preferably in a service-intensive or technical environment (e.g., marina, shipyard, resort, or manufacturing setting).

Proven success in managing large teams, complex projects, and driving business results.

Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability.

Experience navigating regulatory compliance and overseeing large-scale operational systems.
