Our engaging and rigorous approach to educating our scholars is implemented by a collaborative team of teachers Job Description This position is for a person interested in helping students expand the academic instruction they receive during the school day and home in on personal interests.

Specifically, the role requires someone who can spearhead high-quality experiences (plays, debate, science fairs, journalism, etc.) that become seminal components of the ECS Scholar experience.

These experiences will be held to the same standards as our academic expectations.

The successful candidate will work at ECS's network level and report to the Chief Academic Officer.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires travel to our sites across the Bronx and Connecticut.

Job Duties * Executing special projects identified by the CMO for each school within the network including, but not limited to: * Plays and theatrical productions * Debate events * Science fairs * Math tournaments * Content-aligned field trips * Identifying talent at each school site to support special projects * Identifying resources and presenting budgets for special projects Candidate Profile * Deep knowledge of high-quality experiences for students, particularly in the tri-state area * Attention to detail with experience planning events * Deep experience in one of the following areas preferred * STEM * The Arts * Journalism * High enthusiasm and appreciation for extra-curricular events Requirements * Minimum of three years teaching experience at the elementary or middle school level Compensation: * The salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Starting Salary $150,000.
