ACT Team Substance Abuse Specialist

Northeast Counseling Services is seeking a Substance Abuse Specialist to provide Drug & Alcohol counseling through an aggressive Assertive Community Treatment Team outreach approach in the consumer's community.

A valid PA driver's license is required due to the community-based nature of this position.

Due to the intensity of the program, some nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: The position requires a Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

The individual should have certification as an Addictions Counselor or Co-Occurring Disorders Professional, or commit to obtain certification within one year from date of hire.
