Performs histocompatibility testing for organ transplantation, including molecular typing, HLA antibody identification, crossmatch testing.

Test specimens, analyzes, interprets, and reports results.

Helps to determine that existing and new laboratory procedures are dependable, performed efficiently and reported properly.

Effects improvements, insures quality of equipment and materials when directed.

Maintains efficient record systems and performs related duties in the best interest of laboratory services to patients.

Prepares testing results for Manager and Directors sign off to ensure that turnaround times are met.

Performs and analyzes HLA tests, and signs out routine test reports.

Remains current in performing laboratory tests.

Education Bachelors Degree : Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or Chemistry (Required) Experience 3 Years experience in human histocompatibility testing (Required) License/Certifications CHT.
