Adjunct Counselor (Part-Time and Grant-Funded) - (All sites)

The Counseling & Career Development Center is seeking adjunct/part-time Counselors (grant-funded) to perform a variety of counseling services to facilitate the academic, career and personal growth of Moraine Valley students.

Duties include providing individual and group counseling, intervening with academically at-risk students, consulting with faculty and staff regarding student concerns, attending to students in crisis, assisting students facing financial emergencies, facilitating workshops and seminars, and supporting departmental programming.

One position will be primarily located at the Education Center at Blue Island and the other position will be primarily located at the Southwest Education Center in Tinley Park.

Funding for these positions has been provided by the State of Illinois in compliance with the Mental Health Early Action on Campus Act, and is subject to annual appropriation.
