The Title IX Coordinator is Stacy Joslin, 1889 Lawrence Road, Santa Clara, CA 95051 See attachment on original job posting Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing effective classroom management in a co-teaching environment to create a thriving learning environment for children of all abilities; responsibility for ongoing development, implementation, evaluation, and oversight of the child-centered, play-based curriculum for all children, having knowledge or understanding of Developmentally Appropriate Practices, PITC, Preschool Learning Foundations, Desired Results Developmental Profile, Teaching Pyramid and Inclusive practices preferred; ability to lead and mentor Associate Teachers and Teacher Aides in the development of classroom plans and goals; keeping children safe and healthy through proper supervision, authentic interaction and practicing good health habits; creating exciting and enriched environments connected to curriculum and quality learning experiences' working collaboratively with other staff by practicing workplace values, flexibility, and being a team player; communicating regularly with parents to support, guide, and share in their child's development; and providing excellent customer service for families, school, community, and each other.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development required, Master's degree preferred; Valid Teacher Child Development (or higher) permit; 3-5 years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old in infant, toddler, or preschool early learning or group child care program; working knowledge or the ability to learn District adopted software: Google suite software, Google Classroom, Google Hangout and/or Zoom, etc.; CPR and First Aid Certified; must be able to lift 30 lbs.

chest high, and pass a physical exam; must be able to walk, squat, bend, and stand; ability to move freely to supervise and engage in indoor and outdoor activities with children.
