Position Overview
• Assist surgical team in preparing the operating room and instruments for general surgery procedures
• Maintain sterile field and anticipate needs of surgeons and staff during operations
• Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to surgical team efficiently and safely
• Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure accuracy
• Assist with room turnover and sterilization processes between cases
• Follow safety, infection control, and patient care protocols

Job Requirements
Required Credentials
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology or related program preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience or training in general surgery preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience
• Previous surgical or clinical experience preferred but not required
