Job Summary and Description Teaching faculty are professional educators who have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education for all students attending the colleges.
Categories include full-time, temporary with benefits, and temporary without benefits.
Faculty members are responsible to a department/program chairperson; The relationship of the faculty member to the student is one of leader, teacher, advisor, and facilitator of learning.
Faculty members will uphold the mission and values of the colleges' and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues.

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with concentration in networking, security, virtualization, Cloud Technology, or related field.
* Demonstrated three years of full-time virtualization or cloud work experience.
Preferred Education and Experience: * Master's Degree in a related field and five years' experience in information technology field.
* Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud delivery models, cloud security and implementation.
* Current industry certifications to include CompTIA Security+, CISCO, Redhat, or Splunk.
* Teaching experience is a plus.
Must have a desire for lifelong learning and maintain awareness of current technology trends in Cloud, Virtualization, cybersecurity industry trends.
