Licensed Teacher- SPED

We are looking for a full-time dedicated and compassionate licensed teacher for Meadville School working with students facing emotional, behavorial, and mental health challenges, providing a structured academic instruction while supporting their social emotional growth in a therapeutic environment.

• Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Education • Certification: Hold an appropriate Mississippi Teaching Credential or valid emergency certification issued by the state of Mississippi Educational Board • 206 or 211 endorsement required.

Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K are offered.

* Provide therapeutic individualized education in an age-appropriate manner.

* Complete required documentation in a timely manner.

* Participate in Treatment Team/Multidisciplinary Team meetings and ensure all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner.

* Demonstrate knowledge of application of relevant state/federal laws, The Joint Commission standards, and other regulatory agency standards in regards to Millcreek School.

* Accept assignments and other duties as designated by the principal.

* Provide care and/or conducts patient/resident interactions in an age/cultural appropriate manner.

* Follows all safety policies and adheres to all workers' compensation program guidelines.

* Other duties as assigned.
