Position Title: Infection Preventionist Nurse
Department: Nursing
Position Summary: As an Infection Preventionist you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. The Infection Preventionist is responsible for the facility prevention and control program, which is designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections. The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct our infection control program and its activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs, and standards.
To be eligible for consideration applicants:
1. Must possess, as a minimum, a nursing degree from an accredited college, university or school of nursing, and a current unencumbered Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
2. Must be eligible to work in a Skilled Rehabilitation Center.
