Job Title: CT - Technologist

Location: Largo, FL 33770

Length of Assignment: Permanent Full Time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift: Full Time

Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

Utilizing computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Properly positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.

Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to extend the life of the X-ray tubes.

Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.

Accurately interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.

Administering radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.

Assessing CT scans to ensure good technical quality.

Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing necessary reassurance and support.

Qualifications:

Active ARRT (CT) certification

Clear and active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

1-3 years of imaging experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting

Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Strong customer service abilities, including effective listening skills

Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

Capability to perform tasks involving frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
