Med Gas Plumbers

HM Staffing Solutions is seeking skilled and certified Medical Gas Plumber to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Med Gas Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical gas systems in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. You must be familiar with NFPA 99 standards and capable of working in high-stakes environments where safety and precision are critical.

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain medical gas piping systems (oxygen, nitrous oxide, vacuum, etc.)

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and safety regulations

Perform pressure testing and system verification

Collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades

Maintain accurate documentation and service records

Requirements:

Valid Medical Gas Installer Certification (e.g., ASSE 6010)

Journeyman or Master Plumber License (as required by state)

Minimum 4 years of plumbing experience, with at least 5 years in med gas systems

Strong knowledge of NFPA 99 and local plumbing codes

Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
