EEG Tech I - EEG Lab - Neurology - Full Time

General Summary: * EEG technologist I is an entry level position in the Neurophysiology Department.

* The tech will maintain patient safety while the patient is being monitored in the EMU (epilepsy monitoring unit) or while undergoing an 8 hour VEEG.

* The tech is responsible for ensuring electrode integrity, visually watching and tracking (via camera) epilepsy patients (2-8 patients) via monitors.

Willing to travel to various site: * Grosse Pointe Farms * West Bloomfield * Taylor * Troy EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * High school graduate or G.E.D.

equivalent.

* Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited Electrodiagnostic (END) program, is preferred CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current BLS certification.
