The tutors will assist students with programming and other homework in CS, CYBER, and WEB classes.
Tutors will meet with students, potentially online, to assist with class related questions.
This is a pooled position.
Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available.
After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications Must be a current WSU student in CS, CYBER, or WEB CS tutors must have passed CS 1400, 1410, 2550, and 2420 with no more than one of those grades being less than an A-. WEB tutors must have passed Web 1400 and 1430 with an A- or better.
NET tutors must have passed NET 2425, 2435, 3200 with an A- or better.
Grade in NET 2210 Linux Systems Administration: A- or better Grade in NET 2415 Cisco TCP/IP Routing Protocols and Router Configuration: A- or better Grade in NET 2500 Practical Cybersecurity Infrastructure: A- or better Proficiency working in the Linux terminal, calculating subnets, and applying concepts from lower division Cybersecurity and Network Management courses are necessary to perform the duties of this position.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications Cross discipline skills is a plus.
Workstudy eligible preferred.
