JOB SUMMARY: Serve as Garrison Arena representative and point of contact during contracted/scheduled events, Thursday through Monday.

Follows protocol to ensure facilities are prepared and maintained during events.

Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES: 40% - Essential - Event Preparation: Follow defined protocols for varied events to establish lighting, sound, seating, and show ring preparations and maintenance in multiple venues at the Arena complex.

30% - Essential - Grounds maintenance: Operate farm equipment to prepare show rings for multiple disciplines.

Move and set up equipment using skid steer loader.

Operate water truck for non-potable water used for irrigation of show rings.

Stall turnover.

15% - Essential - Facility maintenance: Ensure facilities are clean before and during daily events.

This includes janitorial duties in assembly areas, and waste management and trash in animal housing areas.

10% - Essential - Safety/security: Identify public safety risks and perform corrective maintenance.

Inspect all building and grounds daily for repair and maintenance requirements.

5% - Essential - Public service: Provide area/local information for exhibitors for area attractions, University information, and facility information.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education - High School or Equivalent - custodial or groundskeeping experience directly related to the area of employment.

Licenses - Drivers License Class D normal < 26,000 RESPONSIBILITIES JOB KNOWLEDGE Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises Student Workers only - Supervises Student workers only BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

blood, bodily fluids) WORK SCHEDULE: Standard Hours: 37.5 COMPENSATION INFORMATION Anticipated Salary Range: $31,800 - $36,000 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
