As an Associate Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the early development of children while enjoying a rewarding and supportive work environment.

Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) * Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings Physical and Mental Demands: * Ability to lift and carry young children * Stamina to stay engaged with active children throughout the day * Patience and adaptability to handle varying situations * Good communication skills for interacting with both children and staff Job Responsibilities: * Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities * Supervise and engage children during playtime and learning activities * Maintain a safe and clean environment for children * Assist with mealtime and ensure children's nutritional needs are met * Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere * Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required * Follow all safety and health protocols * Provide support to children's emotional and behavioral needs * Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping as needed * Hours are 6:30 am-7:45 am and 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm Monday through Friday, and will be full-time (10 hr days) when Southwest Dubois School Corporation is not in session.
