Position Type: Support Staff/Paraprofessional Date Posted: 8/18/2025 Location: Tongue River Middle School Additional Information: Show/Hide Sheridan School District #1 is accepting applications for full-time paraprofessional to support our English Language (EL) Program at Tongue River Middle School.

The paraprofessional will work under the direction of the EL teacher to assist multilingual learners in developing English language proficiency and achieving academic success.

Responsibilities include providing instructional support to English learners in various subjects, assisting in delivering lessons aligned with students' language development needs, supporting classroom teachers in implementing accommodations and modifications, and providing translation or interpretation support for students and families as needed.

Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students * Spanish language skills strongly preferred * Previous experience working with multilingual learners is a plus All potential applicants must pass a satisfactory background check.
