APRN/PA - General Pediatrics_Instructor I

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida is seeking an Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse or Physician's Assistant that will function within a clinical team of professionals working autonomously in relation to the complete management of children and young people, complementing other professionals in the delivery of high-quality service provision.

This position uses clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making skills in relation to assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients, and undertaking a range of clinical actions and professional boundaries following assessment of patient need and care requirements.

The faculty will be primarily assigned to cover outpatient clinics and the well-baby nursery (no delivery room attendance). It is expected that the candidate will cover newborn nursery weekends, currently shared within the division and are generally assigned 1 weekend out of 6 (Saturday and Sunday).
