This specialist combines strong educational technology expertise with classroom experience to enhance teaching and learning through effective use of digital tools.
Works collaboratively with the Digital Learning Coordinator to implement the district's digital learning vision and support educators in meaningful technology use.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Digital Learning Implementation * Execute implementation plans for educational technology initiatives across K-12 * Support district digital learning initiatives and provide specialized guidance based on grade-level expertise Professional Development & Training * Deliver targeted training on educational technology tools, including interactive panel technologies, Chromebooks, education technology applications and learning management platforms * Create instructional resources and documentation to support ongoing teacher development * Provide hands-on support and technical guidance for educators implementing new digital tools Curriculum & Instruction Support * Support teachers in implementing K-12 digital learning curriculum and age-appropriate digital resources * Help educators apply appropriate digital solutions aligned with instructional goals * Assist with technical aspects of digital assessment tool implementation Resource Management & Data Support * Maintain organization of digital learning resources and process submissions through district vetting system * Collect and organize data from learning platforms for district analysis and reporting * Help maintain data dashboards for tracking digital resource effectiveness Stakeholder Engagement * Create resources for parents and teachers to support digital learning at home and in classrooms * Help establish and maintain teacher support networks for digital learning initiatives * Support educators with digital assessment tools and procedures during district testing periods QUALIFICATIONS: * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or related field * Minimum 2-3 years of experience in educational technology support, classroom teaching, or instructional support roles * Working knowledge of educational technology systems and platforms * Understanding of digital resource implementation and evaluation * Familiarity with instructional technology troubleshooting, training, and support APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Interested applicants should apply on our website at The Nashua Board of Education reaffirms its position of compliance with applicable State and Federal laws of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, marital status, familial status, genetic information and age in admission to, access to, treatment in or employment in the services, programs and activities of the Nashua School District.
