1) Must have high moral character and a strong value structure

2) Must have comprehensive knowledge of all elements of the game/activity

3) Must be willing and effective communicator and motivator

4) Must be promoter

5) Must be goal oriented

6) Must be well organized

7) Must be effective instructor

8) Must be team player

9) Must have audience awareness

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) Must be available for pre-season and in-season practices and games

2) Coaches must have CPR certification/pupil activity supervisor validation (see revised standard effective 7/1/97).

3) Must have clean and current BCI and FBI background checks
