We are home to physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science and more.

Our faculty have their own specialties, but we work together in an interdisciplinary blend.

We help students in a wide range of majors learn science and scientific inquiry that is a foundation for their own applied programs, not just as a theoretical end of its own.

We also have minors for those students who want to go a little deeper in certain areas, as well as dual major opportunities.

Position Summary The Natural Sciences Department at Oregon Institute of Technology seeks applicants for a full-time, nine-month, Visiting Instructor, to start in September 2025.

The position focuses on excellent instruction with undergraduate and graduate students, and service.

The Natural Sciences department teaches biology, chemistry and physics to undergraduate students in a variety of allied health and engineering majors, and has interdisciplinary Biology-Health Sciences and Environmental Science programs within our own department.

The successful candidate will teach courses such as these: Human Anatomy & Physiology lecture and laboratories for students in Allied Health, Pre-Nursing, and pre-professional Health Sciences programs.

Applicants must have good communication skills, a strong commitment to supporting student success, and dedication to high-quality undergraduate instruction.

As a faculty member, they will collaborate productively with colleagues in the anatomy & physiology group, the Biology-Health Sciences program, and the Natural Sciences department.

This position will be at Oregon Tech's Klamath Falls campus, located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in southern Oregon.

Klamath Falls is widely recognized for its remarkable mountain and lake scenery, including Crater Lake National Park and year-round outdoor recreation opportunities.

Minimum Requirements Additional Requirements * Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

This position does not offer visa sponsorship or other employment-based immigration support.

* MS in a health-related field * Experience with Anatomy & Physiology lecture and labs.

* Teaching Experience Preferred Qualifications * Ph.D., DPT or other doctoral degree in a health-related field * Ability to collaborate productively with other faculty in the A&P group and ability to support continuous program assessment and improvement.
