Description: RESPONSIBLE FOR: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license required.
If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BCLS and ACLS Required
