Services are provided through counseling centers in Mechanicsburg, Lewisburg, Montoursville, Williamsport,#within several public-school buildings and Chester County.
Specialized programs include family-based mental health services, provided in the community and in-home, addiction counseling, trauma-focused therapy and SPIN, a service designed to assist children and youths who have problematic sexual behaviors.
General Responsibilities: Develops and maintains a professional and supportive relationship with youth and their families by providing therapeutic interventions.# Provides individual, couple, family and/or group therapy sessions.
# Completes monthly treatment plan updates and required paperwork and Provides crisis management services as needed.
# Education/Training: Masters Degree in human services (psychology, social work, mental health counseling or related field) is required.
# Experience: A minimum of two (2) years# of experience in related positions normally required.
# ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills Compensation and Benefits: Diakon offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
