Functions as an integral part of the Interventional radiology team by caring for patients undergoing image-guided procedures.
The Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) will be responsible for performing radiological and technical skills using the C-arm and other fluoroscopy equipment to demonstrate portions of the human anatomy on the fluoroscopic screen for diagnostic and interventional purposes, as well as scrub cases alongside the physician.
The IR Tech will also provide assistance to physicians, registered nurses and other professionals.
The IR Tech must be able to take call on weeknights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational team and be at the hospital within 30 minutes C-ARM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Previous experience in any Radiology subspecialty desirable, such as Special Procedures, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, CT, or Ultrasound.

Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Preferred Certifications: Vascular Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular Intervention EMR: Cerner Scrubs: Hospital provided navy scrubs
